Warranty Coverage

1-Year Limited Warranty on Parts, Labor & Shipping

Hachiman PC warrants its desktop systems and components against defects in materials or workmanship for 1 year from the original purchase date. Covered components include CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard, storage drives, PSU, and cooling systems.

Lifetime Technical Support

We provide free assistance with troubleshooting, upgrade guidance, and system optimization for as long as you own your Hachiman PC.

Optional 2- and 3-Year Refundable Protection Programs (Upgrade within 1 year of purchase)

    • Includes parts, labor, and shipping
    • Lifetime technical support
    • If unused, you’ll receive a full credit toward a future Hachiman PC purchase

Coverage on Repairs/Replacements

Any part repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for at least 90 days from the repair date, whichever is longer.

Ownership of Returned Parts

All original parts replaced by Hachiman PC or its authorized service centers become the property of Hachiman PC.


Warranty Conditions

    • Eligibility: This warranty applies only to systems purchased directly from Hachiman PC and used within the United States (continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories). Proof of purchase (invoice) is required for service.
    • Normal Use: Warranty applies only under normal operating conditions.
    • No Defect Found: If a system is returned and no defect in materials or workmanship is found, customers may be responsible for return shipping and/or current labor charges.
    • Missing or Incorrect Items: Customers must notify Hachiman PC within 10 business days of delivery for missing or incorrect components.

Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

    • Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, mishandling, tampering, foreign objects, unauthorized modifications, or altered/removed serial numbers.
    • Improper or custom installation/reinstallation of components.
    • External causes including third-party actions, fire, theft, pests, weather, natural disasters, or other “acts of God.”
    • Damage from riots, strikes, or civil disturbances.
    • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration).
    • PCB damage (scratches, cracks, dents, warped/bent boards).
    • Damage from infestations (insects, rodents, etc.).
    • Exposure to excessive cigarette tar, dust, sand, or other debris.
    • Damage caused by inadequate packaging when shipping a system back.
    • Damage caused by faulty surge protectors, power strips, or extension cords.
    • Unauthorized repairs or damage caused by non-Hachiman service providers.
    • Separately purchased accessories or peripherals not supplied by Hachiman PC.
    • Application programs, operating systems, software issues, data loss, or data recovery.
    • Repairs needed due to incompatibility of upgraded or user-installed parts.
    • Consumables, packaging materials, and promotional gifts included with the product.

Upgrades & Modifications

Adding or upgrading components does not void the overall warranty. However, those added components are not covered under this warranty, and if an upgrade causes damage to the system, the warranty may be voided.

Data Handling During Repairs

Some repairs may require reformatting or replacing storage drives, which will remove all data and installed programs.

    • Customers are responsible for backing up data before sending systems in for service.
    • Hachiman PC will not be liable for data loss under any circumstances.

Third-Party Warranties

Many internal components (e.g., GPU, PSU, SSD) are also covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty, which may extend beyond Hachiman PC’s coverage. Customers may contact manufacturers directly for service in addition to Hachiman PC support.

Limitations of Liability

    • Hachiman PC makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
    • Hachiman PC is not liable for any loss of work, business interruption, inconvenience, data loss, or damages exceeding the original purchase price of the system.
    • No reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make modifications or extensions to this warranty.

Post-Warranty Conditions

    • After your warranty period (1-year standard or 2-/3-year extended) expires, parts, labor, and shipping are no longer covered.
    • You may still contact Hachiman PC for lifetime technical support — our team will continue to assist with troubleshooting, upgrade advice, and diagnostics at no cost.
    • If hardware repairs or part replacements are needed outside of warranty, they will be quoted at current rates. Replacement parts provided outside of warranty carry a 90-day limited warranty.
    • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs on out-of-warranty repairs.


Warranty Service & RMA Process

Obtaining Warranty Service

    • All warranty service requires pre-approval and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
    • Customers must contact Hachiman PC Support and provide:
      • Proof of purchase (invoice) / order number
      • System serial number
      • Detailed description of the issue
    • Once approved, Hachiman PC will issue an RMA number and a prepaid shipping label.

Types of RMAs

    • Repair RMA – Return your full system for inspection, repair, or replacement.
    • Parts Exchange RMA – Return an individual defective component for replacement.
    • Advance Parts Exchange (optional) – At Hachiman’s discretion, a replacement part may be shipped first. This requires a temporary charge on a valid credit card, refunded once the defective part is returned.

RMA Shipping Policy

    • All warranty coverage (1-year standard or 2–3 year extended) includes prepaid shipping both ways.
    • A prepaid return shipping label will be provided for every RMA.
    • Customers must use the provided label; no reimbursements will be issued for self-arranged shipping.

Validity

    • RMA numbers are valid for 30 calendar days from issuance.
    • Prepaid shipping labels must be used within 14 days of issuance.
    • RMAs not completed within this timeframe may require re-authorization.

Packaging Requirements

    • Customers are responsible for securely packaging their system or component.
    • Original packaging and internal foam are strongly recommended.
    • Hachiman PC is not responsible for damage caused by improper or inadequate packing.

Customer Responsibilities Before Return

    • Back up all data. Repairs may involve reformatting or replacing drives, and Hachiman PC is not responsible for lost data.
    • Remove personal files, removable media, and third-party add-ons not included in the original purchase.
    • Packages returned without a valid RMA number may be refused or returned at customer expense.
